About the Method

The Trinity Endurance Sport method begins with a detailed coach/athlete interview to distinguish the athlete's goals, background, current level of fitness, and time available for training.

Athletes engage in field tests to determine heart rate based training zones for the run and bike, a lane base for swim training, and a power profile for cycling.

The Trinity Endurance Sport training method has three principle phases which focus on developing the critical adaptations to maximize performance in endurance events: aerobic capacity, muscular endurance, and the personalized event-specific performance phase.

During the aerobic capacity phase the athlete develops neuromuscular economy and aerobic endurance. During the muscular endurance phase, the athlete trains to develop sport specific muscular strength and to maximize the application of power over time. In the personalized event-specific performance phase the athlete is fine-tuned to perform at his or her highest level for the specific demands of the course in their key event.

Trinity Endurance Sport has developed and refined specific protocols and progressions across the disciplines to maximize technique, confidence, performance, and growth. The Trinity Endurance Sport method is proven to generate breakthroughs in training and racing.

Trinity athletes have come to expect the consistency, professionalism, communication, and progressive development which has them meet and exceed their goals, set personal records and continue to develop year after year.

No matter how
tired you are or
how badly it hurts,
if you keep your form you will go faster.
